Contextural is a group of like minded artists who came together in the fall of 2007 with a common goal; to support our individual fibre practises. In the short year we've gotten to know each other as a group, we've "set-up shop" in several of Calgary's art/festival events, and established an interim summer residency in the Alberta College of Art and Design's fibre studios and had a successful exhibition. We're super excited about our direction, looking for a permanent space and would like to welcome ... you, if what we're up to peaks your interest.
